Parametric Digital Design
Parametric design is the methodology in which the design of ideas and geometry is done instead of quoting static geometry data by studying and programming the correlations between design complexity and geometry results. This is usually achieved through graphical programming using tools such as Revit, where the designer has a direct and continuous relationship with the parameters and the final result.
Parametric design is a type of design that uses parameters and equations that leads to geometry. Parametric modeling captures the design intent with geometric relationships, so that when a designer changes a dimension, the whole model accepts the new parameter. This methodology significantly reduces the amount of time designers spend modifying their designs and helps them get a wealth of end results faster.
The program is completely practical and is based on the creation of parametric models using Revit and Grasshopper.
This Program is Addressed To:
Designers, i.e. Architects Engineers, Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Interior Designers and industrial product designers, who want to develop in depth the application of parametric design.
